Bad Start with Saga Insurance


I took up an offer with Saga for home insurance. I received an email from them saying that I needed to download my documents and check them by logging in to their website “My Saga”. When you try to do that, it tries to verify your email account before letting you in. Well, repeated attempts to do that result in nothing more than me receiving an email from them which is encrypted; it’s not activating the email address for the account.

So, I called them by phone and was told that the call centre is so busy that they can only offer to call me back sometime within 24 hours.

This all sounds like pretty poor service to me; tempting to cancel it! Anyone know if this is typical?
