This card sounds almost too good to be true. It seems to offer pretty much what a Starling Bank debit card offers, namely no fees overseas on transactions and at ATMs. But since it’s a visa the exchange rate you get is not as good as that you get on Mastercard.
Does anyone have this card? Is it hard to get, I think the advised income level is £20k a year but I keep getting offered the normal Barclaycard and I’m earning less than that! Any differences?
The website says: “No non-sterling transaction fees on your foreign spend and ATM withdrawals until 31 August 2022. After this, the fee returns to 2.99%.”
Anyone see a catch here? Does it charge ATM fees if you use it in the UK maybe?
