Bereaved relatives can claim PPI compensation on behalf of relatives who have died
Nine out of ten people are unaware they may be able to claim compensation for mis-sold payment protection insurance (PPI) on behalf of relatives who have died, according to research by consumer group Which?
If you think you, or a loved one who has passed away, has been mis-sold PPI, contact the bank, building society or the financial business that sold the loan or credit card.
If you are not happy with the response you receive you can refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service by calling 0800 023 4567, emailing email@example.com or writing to Financial Ombudsman Service, Exchange Tower, London, E14 9SR.
The deadline for making a claim for PPI is August 29, 2019.
