Choosing a two-bedroom flat is often a compromise made by buyers who cannot afford to stretch to a house.
But some two-bed apartments in the most sought-after locations can have values that fall firmly into the money-no-object camp – and far exceed the average house price.
The latest figures by Halifax found that the average value of a home in Britain has reached more than £220,000. And yet, we have found flats with much higher asking prices – including one for sale for more than £3million.
