British carmaker Aston Martin has unveiled plans to float on the London Stock Exchange, with full details to be released in September. News of the listing came as profits accelerated 14 per cent.   

Energy giant British Gas has paid out £2.65million after the energy watchdog found it overcharged more than 94,000 customers switching provider and wrongly imposed exit fees on thousands of households.
