Halifax Clarity Card – MoneySavingExpert.com Forums

I have recently applied for the clarity card as we are due to go abroad in September on a Caribbean cruise. They gave me a limit of £1000 which is fine by me. However I think I’ve confused myself on how to use it correctly to not be charged interest?

If it helps whilst we are onboard the cruise we have to have a credit card linked to our online account and are charged it on a weekly basis. So one example may be I spend $400 one week and $300 the next. I’ll also be looking at booking excursions soon online which I’m sure is charged in dollars. Is this something the clarity card may be good for?

Can anyone break down or advise on the best way to use this? Or have I totally picked the wrong card?
