Advice, please… I’m posting this query on behalf of my daughter, who insured her car with Hastings – this is what happened …
Late in 2017, she left the UK to live and work abroad. She sold her car, but either forgot or didn’t bother to cancel her car insurance.
Of course, Hastings have now auto-renewed – though my daughter has no UK bank account for them to take money from, she is worried that her credit rating may be affected.
Hastings are refusing to speak to me, and their help lines and online chat are apparently not contactable from overseas. Hastings refuse to deal with my daughter via e-mail. Any advice?
