I had set up a standing order to pay for my Tesco credit card and a payment came out on the statement date resulting in a missed payment. This was in March. I rang Tesco after realising what had happened and had the late payment fee reversed and was told that the 0% offer would be reinstated.
I’ve checked my statement for the last month and it shows I’ve been charged interest. I’ve just been on the phone and the operative told me it can take a couple of months for the offer to be reinstated and that I would get the interest refunded when this happened.
I’m just wondering if I’ve been fobbed off or whether this is true?
