IN THE MONEY: Superdry co-founder Julian Dunkerton pockets £71m after selling 5.5m worth of shares
Julian Dunkerton has pocketed £71million after selling 5.5m shares, taking his holding down to 15.1m, or 18.5 per cent.
The 53-year-old founded the firm 33 years ago with business partner James Holder, at a market stall in Cheltenham.
It now encompasses 550 stores or concessions.
Dunkerton recently quit the board to focus on his hospitality businesses and charity interests.
He is engaged to designer Jade Holland Cooper, 31, and is estimated to be worth more than £440million.
