Drugs giant Glaxosmithkline has picked up HSBC’S departing finance chief.
Iain Mackay will join as chief financial officer after Simon Dingemans retires in May.
The 56-year-old Scot will be paid £850,000 but will be able to earn a maximum of nearly £5million including bonuses.
He was handed £3.3million by HSBC in 2017.
Emma Walmsley, Glaxo’s boss, can earn a maximum of £8.9million.
Mackay’s appointment is the latest in a major shake-up under her rule.
