Santander has contacted me to say that in future some transactions will require extra security. This being a number sent to a mobile phone for entry. In this area we have no mobile phone access and so this won’t be possible. I contacted them to check whether a landline can be used but apparently not. I explained that we have no signal but the reply was more or less ‘too bads’! Has anybody else had this problem and how have you got around it, please?
