Shop Around or Let it Run?

Sorry if this is a really silly question but I have a decreasing life insurance policy (£244,770.00 over 25 years for £13.09 per month).

I took this out a couple of years ago and it just occurred to me that this might be the only insurance policy where you’re not meant to renew each year. Is that right? Should I shop around each year to make sure I’m on the best deal or is that the whole point of signing up to a long year policy – you just sit back and let it run?

Increasingly money-conscious
