Using zero % cc to reduce flexible mortgage


So i sucessfully applied and got 3 zero % credit card money transfers.
I used the cash to reduce my old style flexible mortgage (the one account). Rate 4%. I have to clear my mortgage by 2019. I then applied for a 40K remortgage with Nationwide (lifetime mortgage up to 85 years old.) because of the cc debt they would only lend me 14K. Using their affordability calculator whch they provided to me i entered zero cc debt, and increased my outstanding mortgage by the cc amounts. They can now lend me 85K! I thought i was being saavy reducing my mortgage using zero % money transfers. The only way i can see around this is to pay off the c cards using my one account thereby bringing my outstanding mortgage back up.? Any advice greatly welcome. Thank you.
