Wetherspoons will ditch more European suppliers within weeks as it prepares for Brexit.
Brexit-backing Tim Martin, the pub chain’s founder and boss, said the entire range of food and drinks was being reviewed to see if better alternatives were available from outside the EU.
French Champagne and German beers have already been replaced on menus and further product changes are expected as soon as September, he revealed.

The prospect of the UK leaving the EU without a trade deal has become more likely recently. That could see Britain revert to World Trade Organisation rules.
Martin, 63, said that would mean it was cheaper in many cases to buy wine and beer from non-EU countries which currently face tariffs.
