Wetherspoons to ditch more European suppliers as it prepares for Brexit
Wetherspoons will ditch more European suppliers within weeks as it prepares for Brexit.
Brexit-backing Tim Martin, the pub chain’s founder and boss, said the entire range of food and drinks was being reviewed to see if better alternatives were available from outside the EU.
French Champagne and German beers have already been replaced on menus and further product changes are expected as soon as September, he revealed.

Martin, 63, said that would mean it was cheaper in many cases to buy wine and beer from non-EU countries which currently face tariffs.
