why is my insurance 1k more this year?

Car insurance is due for renewal, was paying £1.7k last year, have earned 2 years NCB. All was good and well got a quote for £800 when putting down the address I ACTUALLY live at (lincolnshire) but the car isn’t kept here, it’s at my family’s house as I didn’t bring the car with me when moving since I had no plan to drive it around here, no need. But my dad needs to use my car, he is insured to drive anyone’s car so it’s not an issue of additional driver making it higher as he doesn’t need to be added but when I put the car is kept (london) same address as last year the price is now a whopping £3000?! I haven’t made any claims, had a black box installed, never sped in fact I rarely drove it since I live elsewhere? I find it ironic because they say lincolnshire has the worst drivers and roads .

Is it possible it has anything to do with my dad having a policy cancelled by insurance at the address? Because I can’t for the life of me see why I’m being quoted £3-4k now and that’s with me adding 2 years NCB and NOT adding him as an additional driver… help? I’ve tried searching individually with the actual providers, clearing history and cache still no good.

Held my license for 2 years now, I’m 20 and car is a peugeot 206 1.1 5 door worth about £500.
