Wife of Cranswick chairman cashes in more than half a million pounds worth of shares

The wife of the Cranswick chairman Martin Davey has cashed in on more than half a million pounds worth of shares.
Linda Davey sold 15,000 shares at 3340p each ‘for personal reasons’, landing her £501,000, according to a stock exchange filing.
Davey, 64, joined the sausage-casing company in 1985 as finance director and led its listing on the London Stock Exchange in the same year.

Last year Cranswick racked up a 17.6 per cent boost in sales to nearly £1.5billion as profits shot up 13.5 per cent to £88million.
Cranswick’s share price slipped 1.1 per cent, or 36p, to 3252p.
