My daughter (young driver) unfortunately had a low speed bump in her car – No other vehicles / property / people involved and no injuries apart from her pride).
The damage is likely to cost a couple of hundred more than the excess to repair.
She currently has 1 year no claims and the insurance company already know there has been an incident (black box).
My question is: would keeping it as an incident (without a claim) affect insurance as much as making a claim.
Just trying to decide what route to go down.
I’m also concerned that as its a relatively low value car (£1900ish) that the insurers might write it off – As she still has 6 months insurance left on the policy would this automatically end the policy?
